The 2012 KBI World Championships are getting very close now. KBI Wales athletes need to download and complete an entry form and give it to your instructor with the appropriate fee to be validated by Shihan Mike Tan as soon as possible.  Athletes from overseas organisations should submit their application to their national Head of Delegation.The categories list can also be downloaded from the championships page on this website.  All forms needed can be found on the 2012 Chmpionships page.

 

 

The WKGB held the Welsh Closed Competiton at the Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff on Sunday 15th April.
Junior competitors from the KBI Caerphilly Dojo and seniors from the Heath Dojo obtained medals in several categories:

  • C Griffths - u10 girls kata – bronze
  • Lauren-May Preeceu – u15 girls kata – bronze
  • Harry Paterson – u14 boys kumite – bronze
  • C. phillips – u14 girls kumite – bronze
  • Joshua Isaac – u18 male kumite – silver
  • J wallen, O Higgs, I Harley - under 12 boys kumite – silver
  • Lee James, Andrew Clark, Mike Aubrey – Senior male team kumite - bronze

Also great work individuals just missing out on medals:

  • Emily Jane Wallen - u15 girle kata
  • Harry Paterson – uu14 boys kata
  • J Wallen – u10 boys kumite, O Higgs and I Harley u12 boys kumite

Great effort by all keep up the good work standard as always very high
